As we cross into 2026, we want to recognize and thank all the volunteers that have helped with Holy Trinity Lutheran Church’s (HTLC) ministries succeed in the year of 2025. Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting some of the ways that volunteers have enriched the ministries we do at Holy Trinity. Each week we will focus on a different area of impact, focusing on these three areas: Sundays, Daily and Special Events. 

This week’s focus is on Sundays

Worship each Sunday would not happen without all of you! Our service volunteers greet visitors and members, serve communion, read scripture, sing in the choir, advance the projector slides, serve as acolyte, and serve drinks and snacks during fellowship hour. 

Our Worship and Music Committee help coordinate services for church events and holidays and determine times for special services. The HTLC Choir in conjunction with Our Savior Lutheran’s choir held a collaborative choir performance for All Saints Day.

Our Technology Committee manages live streaming of worship services on YouTube and Facebook so that visitors and members alike can attend from home or on the road or rewatch a sermon that touched their heart. This includes preparing the streaming presentation in our streaming software, operating the cameras, and switching between scenes while another volunteer operates the soundboard. The Technology Committee also completed work on HTLC revised website and it became live in early 2025. The newly revised website continues to improve as our members share activities and opportunities along with photos with the church office. 

Our Christian education volunteers make it possible to have Sunday school, Wired Word, and intergenerational Bible study each Sunday at 9 am prior to worship service. These volunteers also make it possible for our youth to connect with each other and others as well as grow their faith via youth group, confirmation class, Intergenerational Vacation Bible School, and other community outreach events. These Christian education offerings provide opportunities for individuals of all ages to grow their faith enabling them to share what they learn with those they interactive with throughout their daily life either by their actions or words.

Our Sunday volunteers are instrumental in our deliverance of Sunday service every week. We appreciate all of those that help us to create a faith community in 2025 and all of those that will help this year.
