On September 1, 2024, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church welcomed the Reverend Dr. Gladys Nwabah to serve as our Interim Pastor for a year as the church calls a full-time pastor.

The Reverend Dr. Gladys Nwabah was a professor of Economics, a high school AP Economics teacher, and a high school Behavior Adjustment teacher before she was called into the ministry in 2012. She was an educator for over three decades.
Gladys taught at the following schools:
Gladys loves education; which inspired her to acquire five degrees - a bachelor's degree, three master's degrees, a doctoral degree from the following schools:
Gladys earned her theology degree from Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University Dallas Texas in 2011. She completed her Pastoral Internship at NorthPark Presbyterian Church, Dallas TX; prior to her ordination in 2012.
Gladys has passions for missions; she worked with the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria for three and half years as a volunteer pastor; served as an associate pastor at First Presbyterian Church Garland Texas; and most recently served as a Solo Pastor and Head of Staff at Memorial Presbyterian Church, Dayton Indiana. Gladys is also trained and certificated in Transitional (Interim) Ministry.
Gladys authored books in economics, women development in Africa. She is in the final stages of publishing her memoir. She has also published in reputable journals. Gladys' true passion is mission, worship and ministry - particularly focusing on pastoral care, preaching, women, youth, and pastoral education/training.
Gladys is widowed. She has five children and nine grandchildren; most of them live in the Dallas Texas Metroplex. Her twin sister also lives in the Dallas area. Gladys loves needle sewing and gardening. She currently lives in Lafayette Indiana with her baby son, Feso.
