Pack Away Hunger
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church has joined other churches on Dr. Martin Luther King Day to support Pack Away Hunger. This event brings together people from the Lafayette-West Lafayette community to serve those who hunger both near and far.Â
Food packets are assembled by volunteers.Â
These packets containÂ
- rice,Â
- soy protein,Â
- dehydrated vegetables,Â
- vitamins andÂ
- mineralsÂ
The packets are designed to meet the nutritional needs of malnourished children. These are then distributed equally though Food Finders locally and in Guatemala by Food for the Poor.
