Summer Grief Support Workshops

Franciscan Hospice Care Lafayette is announcing its Summer Grief Support workshops for the Summer of 2026. Six free separate workshops will be held on Wednesdays from 6 pm to 8 pm beginning July 8th. Each session includes a guided experience, reflection, and conversation. Guides for each session are: July 8th Artistic Expression; July 15th Music; July 22nd Creativity; July 29th Faith; August 5th Our Bodies’ Wisdom; August 12th Nature. You are invited to come as you are. Just bring yourself and your willingness to explore new ways of navigating your loss, grief, and healing. Please register for the sessions you plan on attending and reach out with any questions you may have. Are You Interested in CPR Training?

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is wanting to gauge interest on having CPR training. The training will cost $65.00 and will be conducted by Francisan at the church if there is enough interest. Fill out the interest survey HERE or you can sign your name at the physical sign-up sheet in the narthex. 

The Wired Word

Join us on Sundays, at 9 A.M. in the Narthex on the first floor for The Wired Word. This weekly Bible study curriculum connects the Bible to current events, open to everyone, seventh grade and older. 

Topic for Sunday, June 14: Pope Leo Issues Encyclical in Support of Humanity

We will discuss the release of Pope Leo XIV's encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas, to consider what it means to be human in the context of the rapid development of new technology such as artificial intelligence (AI).
