This Sunday, December 7th, after church service at 11am in the sanctuary we will have a special congregational meeting to vote on the expenditures expected for the mold remediation. The property committee has been hard at work deciding which of our quotes to move forward with and how to proceed after this to not have this be a problem in the future. We look forward to seeing you then.
The installation of the Church Council will occur during the worship service on December 7th. Check out the Church Council Webpage for an updated list of the council members.Â
Following the special voters meeting this Sunday, December 7th, we will be decorating the sanctuary for the Christmas season. Many hands make light work, and we would love to see as many people as possible at this event. See you Sunday!
Calling all HTLC children, youth, and high schoolers! On Sunday, December 7th from 9-9:45 Â am, we will be meeting at Rosewalk Village to hand out Christmas ornaments. We are hoping to get enough people to break into groups so we can reach all 100+ residents during our visit. If you have questions, please reach out to McKenzie Temme.Â
The auction of the quilt made by the HTLC Quilters concluded this past Sunday. The winner of the quilt was Kevin Letcher. Thank you to everyone that participated! All proceeds from this raffle will be going into our treasury for use for making more quilts.
If you are interested in helping out with service on Sundays in the month of December, please fill out the form. We need volunteers to read the lessons, help with communion, and flip slides for the congregation. If you have any questions, you can visit the Sunday Service Volunteer webpage.Â
Jubilee Christmas on December 13th is fast approaching. Our congregation will be helping 22 parents plan a Christmas celebration for 64 children. Some of the many ways to help with Jubilee Christmas include taking a tag from the Mitten Tree and shopping for a child, checking out the laundry basket display and donating cleaning supplies, donating a dozen or two of your favorite holiday cookies, making a monetary donation, and volunteering to help at HTLC on December 13th. There is no one way to contribute to the service of Jubilee Christmas. Visit our Jubilee Christmas webpage for more information regarding these opportunities.Â
Join us on Sundays, at 9 A.M. in the Narthex on the first floor for The Wired Word. This weekly Bible study curriculum connects the Bible to current events, open to everyone, seventh grade and older.Â
Since pastors and churches are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence (AI) to assist them with ministry and mission, this week we will focus on appropriate uses of technology, how we see and hear God's Word, and the church's identity as the body of Christ. We will also explore the ways in which human beings are superior to AI, and should never be replaced.
Read the news related to this topic before attending this bible study to be prepared for an engaging conversation.
Do you have an event to add to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Calendar?Â
Please fill out the HTLC event form so we have the necessary information to not only add it to the church calendar but also have the necessary details to highlight it in the ePistle, our website and social media if requested.Â
Thank you!
